I have been urged by people in the art business to write a ‘serious’ artist’s statement.

To which I say, ‘I won’t’.

I love Beethoven, Puccini, Rembrandt, Pavarotti, to name a few. And I never read any of their artist statements. Did they write one? What if they didn’t? -
